    COURAGEOUS HEARTS

    8:30 AM - 10:00 PM 626 Plainsboro Road, Plainsboro NJ 08536

We are all called to be creative voices who will pull down the sound of heaven for our territory. The voice may come in the form of lyric, sound, visual expression or movement but it comes from the heart of the pioneers who strain to hear the sounds that God uniquely implanted all around them. We’d like to invite you to come be encouraged, to take time with other pioneers of sound, to be refreshed and find re-definition to the dreams God has planted in your heart. We look forward to seeing you in the Barn!

    SESSIONS & SCHEDULE
Workshop Roots Down: Journaling As Prayer and Devotion
The quest of discovering our “true identity” is a journey philosophers, psychologists and religious thinkers have grappled with across the centuries. For the believer in Jesus, this discovery lies not so much within personal revelation but in seeing ourselves within the reflection of the Father’s eyes. Discovering our true identity, or that version of ourselves God had in mind when he first imagined our being, comes only through intimacy with him. The paradox of The Christian faith is that the more we become like Him, the more we become who he created us to be. In this workshop, Stephen will share key insights on how chronicling our history with God, our dreams and our life events can lead to a life of fruitfulness and reveals the art, God created us to be.
    Learn how to:
    – cultivate a deeper devotional life
    – organize thoughts and prayers
    – keep a record of encounters, fulfillments and promises
    – effective methods of journaling and daily writing habits

Workshop Architects of Hope: A Counter-Cultural Approach to Making Art
Artists throughout history have been sold the lie that depression and despair are the primary catalysts for creativity. In this workshop, Stephen will share from scripture and personal experience, how artists of faith can offer hope to our communities through creative works and counter-cultural approaches to life and art.
    Learn how to:
    – approach art-making from a counter-cultural stance of hope and the anticipation of good
    – leave room for the eternal perspective within your art
    – utilize boredom and the mundane as catalysts for inspiration
    – explore the depths of joy, curiosity and discovery
